2004 Ford F250 Review
Ford is determined to fill the growing demand for commercial use pickup trucks.
The Ford F250 Super Duty is one of the best vehicles for heavy hauling. Its rugged
construction, high towing and payload capacities plus competent off road capabilities,
make the F250 a favorite pickup truck for work and commercial purposes. For 2004,
a new Ford F250 Harley Davidson package is now available, offering anew level
of toughness and luxury. There are three different engine options for the F250.
The base engine is a 5.4-liter V8 that generates 260 horsepower and 350 pound-feet
of torque. Meanwhile, the optional 6.8-liter V10 generates 310 hp and 425 lb-ft
of torque.
The standard transmission is 6-speed manual with overdrive, a 4-speed automatic
is also available. The 6.0-liter Powerstroke diesel rated at 325 hp and 560 lb-ft
is the best choice for towing and hauling. With the proper equipments, an F250
can tow up to 14,200 pounds.
