1999 Ford F250 Super Duty

For 1999, the new Ford F250 Super Duty is built on a new platform different from
those of previous and continuing F150s and F250s. The completely redesigned and
re-engineered Ford F250 Super Duty now look like real trucks compared to its lighter
duty brothers, the F150s. The 1999 Ford F250 Super Duty boasts of many significant
improvements than its predecessors.
These enhancements include a roomier and more convenient interior that belies
the F250's rugged exterior. The 1999 Ford F250 also features better suspension,
superior brakes and a selection of more powerful engines. It also feature a more
potent towing capacity, a feature the F250 is known for.

The F250 is available as regular cab, Super Cab, and Crew Cab models. It is offered
in both 2 and 4 wheel drive. There are three engine options, 5.4-litre Triton
V-8 with 235 hp, a 6.8-litre Triton V-10 with 275 hp or a 7.3-litre diesel at
about 235-hp. Transmissions range from five or siz speed manuals to a new automatic
transmission.
