1990 Ford F250

The Ford F250 is offered as either 2-Dr Extended Cab Pickup or 2-Dr Regular Cab
Pickup. Engine options include 4.9L Inline 6, 5.0L V8, 5.8L V8, 7.3L V8, 7.5L
V8. The 1990 Ford F250 had two drivetrain choices, FWD and Rear Whee l Drive.
Available transmissions include 3 Speed Automatic, 4 Speed Automatic, 4 Speed
Manual, and 5 Speed Manual.
The best points of the 1990 F250 are good acceleration (V8), spacious passenger
and cargo room, and superb trailer-towing capability. The downsides include bad
fuel economy, noise, handling and interior storage space. The F250s of this era
earned a good reputation for its power, payload and trailer-towing ability. These
pickup trucks also offered roomy cabins with plenty of headroom but styling was
less-than-optimal.
